Well over the past few months I have been experimenting more and more, and whilst I am sure there is a place for the offshore link builder, I am finding it harder and harder to justify this for my internal projects. Dont get me wrong as an SEO who only performs white hat techniques on my client sites, I would not perform this on client sites- however on my personal money making projects, for every $100 I spend, I am getting back $746!

I am currently writing my second ebook  – which includes a number of key tips as to how to increase adsense revenue through simply building a very simple website! – I know I havent posted on here for a long time, but this is because I have been spending all of my time as a online earner and perfecting the use of these techniques.

As an affiliate marketer, nobody knows the exact figures of what each and everyone of us earn, I could quite asily clam to be earning $41,000 a month and that would make me a better affiliate marketer than others. However this would just be false advertising – how many eBooks have you seen which tell you this is a guaranteed way to make $40,000 a month, these are quite simply just junk.

When starting out in internet marketing it is very easy to waste a lot of money and instantly think life is against you and you will never make a living at this and give up. Well 99 out of 100 affiliate marketers do this, make this massive mistake and fail miserably and land on there backside…

Remember there are many sayings which talk about struggles, “Rome wasn’t built in a day” is the one that springs to mind, but I am going to give you a couple of massive tips when going into the dog eat dog world of affiliate marketing

Over the past 2-3 months my life outside of my money making activites has been rather distracting, from my dad having his third stroke, to my 11 month old son spending 8 days critically ill in hospital to his first birthday yesterday – added to the fact I also run a Search Engine Optimisation consultancy, you would have thought all of my online money making efforts would grind to a halt – but not so..

In this constantly moving online world, it is easy to think about jumping into a market and dominating the serps (I do already on 5-10 extremely generic high traffic keywords), thinking you are gong to simply clean up with all the competition, sit back and take your piece of the pie.

Most people will then go out there, build a website called example.com, add a few pages, throw some links at the site and then shove a bit of adsense on there, get to position 1 in Google and sit back and watch the $’s come in and think that was easy, rinse and repeat for another site. This is a crap way to go out there and earn your living, as you are not learning as you go, simply using the same technique over and over and over again till you hit the magic figure…..

As an SEO I often get asked the question will I hold a training course for x number of people, I always refuse to offer such a course, not because I dont want the money, but because a lot of the information in my head can be got for free on the internet through searching through a LOT of websites.

I mean anyone in internet marketing, knows that 70% of what they know has been found out for free through many painstaking hours of reasearch (1000′s in my case), with the other 20% learned from experience, and 10% is gut instinct. now nobody can teach you the gut instinct or the experience, and where do you get the original 70% knowledge from?

Not money making!

After vowing to check spam comments daily for every submitted comment, after spending the third day on the trot deleting mass comments (and probably some genuine ones as well – sorry guys) then my spirit is broken, I have just installed the akismet plugin to prevent future spam posts.

Hopefully this will free up some time to actually write more posts for you guys to digest and send you guys out more newsletters with Nate’s Top Internet Marketing Tips.

Recently I have been working through a large number of websites, and of course experimenting with all forms of link building – with a variety of success….

Firstly I should add, that I only offer a ethical SEO Link building for websites for all client based work, however as an SEO I use a number of my money making sites to learn about both ethical and certain unethical techniques.

Backlinks.com is one of many websites who offer you the ability to rent links. This is a strictly forbidden process by the search engines for organic results, however paid link sites often say you can not tell the difference between a paid and a genuine link using there scripts. But is this really the truth?

As many of you know, this blog is about discussing the ways I make money online, and one of the things we spend a lot of time working on is the overall strategy and how we are going to push forwards.
